At Walkers Beach, we have curated, and are proud of, our art collection of well-known South African artists. These include 2 by William Kentridge, 2 by Sculptor Dylan Lewis, and a large oil of the Langenberg Mountains by Ernst Abram Volschenk.
Angela Banks, a surrealist artist on the rise known for her vibrant and emotive paintings, is also part of our collection.
Walter Gilbert Wiles dedicated many years to painting in the picturesque Plettenberg Bay area. His large work of The Bushmans River Mouth once graced the dining room of the old Beacon Island Hotel. There are also many smaller works of his in Walkers Beach.
